Circa 1925 Maria Monaci Gallenga hand-stenciled silk velvet evening gown. Peach tabard-style dress and separate under bodice with vermillion velvet medieval sleeves. The final image showcases ‘The Theodesia,’ a garment from the same period with identical motifs, that  is currently on display at the ‘Women Dressing Women’ exhibition in The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
